Christopher M. Lewis

A 2nd generation artist from Texas Southern University. After quite some time being a graphic designer, I found myself late in life wanting to educate and share some of my experiences. I recently graduated from The Texas Southern University, and studied under several well known artists, Leamon Green and Osawkun Kingsley. While there, they helped ignite a passion to create art using different mediums. I am also influenced by some of the great Artists of old like Henry O. Tanner. These artists have inspired, pushed and and taught him structure, design and a various of techniques. I am presently pursuing a Double MFA at Houston Baptist University in Studio Painting and Printmaking. I'm strongly influenced by Michael R. Collins and Leamon Green to create, educate and impact lives through my art. I have a desire to educate the future generation with the hope of caring on the traditional forms of art.
